Ferda Celen MA, LMHCA

  • Ferda Celen
I hold a Master of Arts degree in clinical psychology from Washington School of Psychology. Prior to my private practice, I worked at a community mental health clinic as therapist. I emigrated to the United States of America from Turkey and I am able to provide counseling in English and Turkish. Before becoming a counselor, I worked in finance, manufacturing and travel companies. I also hold Master of Science degree in Management and Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering. Those works were satisfying in many ways, but I felt that something was missing. So, I went back to school to get my degree in psychology. I believe my own journey to find what is right for me in this world gave me better insight and understanding that change is possible. I enjoy helping people who want to make changes in their life. I offer individual therapy for adults in my practice. Helping and supporting new mothers through their journey to parenthood was always one of my goals when I made my career change.
