Nurtureways

Nurtureways offers a variety of mindfulness-based programs and services to support families in finding confidence and joy in their unique parenting journey serving the Seattle and Northshore area.

Programs Offered:

  • Growing Expectations (for Pregnant Parents)
  • Learn how to use mindfulness to tune into your soon-to-be newborn’s needs as well as your own while living in the present moment.

  • Nurturin Beginnings (Postpartum Moms and Babies 2 weeks through 2 months)
  • Topics include: physical recovery from birth, emotional adjustment to mothering, baby’s physical and emotional development, newborn care, partner relationships and building secure attachment.

  • Cultivating Connections including Listening Mothers™ (Parents and Babies 6-12 months old)
  • Explore infant emotion and regulation, building secure attachment, and practice meaningful parental self-care. Discover how to tap into your unique parenting strengths to support baby’s development and relationships.

    About Jamie Wazenkewitz

    Jamie Wazenkewitz, MSW, MPH, LICSW is a licensed clinical social worker serving the Northshore area. Drawing on her training in infant mental health, maternal health, parent/child attachment and mindfulness-based therapeutic approaches, Jamie offers groups for parents from pregnancy through the early parenting years. Her practice also offers individuals counseling to support parents in the challenges and joys along their unique parenting path. She lives with her husband, 2 amazing boys, and terrier pup in Kenmore, WA where they enjoy exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
